		<description>I believe one enhancement of a PulseAudio server over plain ALSA is that multiple sound sources can now be freely intermixed. At least I haven&#039;t yet seen any of those dreadful &quot;sound device in use&quot; error messages I received in prior Ubuntu versions, where one application tried to access the sound device while another app was blocking it.

Changes to the infrastructure like this may only indirectly affect user experience in a positive way, but they are nevertheless a solid foundation for other improvements.</description>
